Privacy

hjom is built on a simple principle: what we know about your home belongs to you, not us. This page explains what we collect right now, during the waitlist phase, and what we'll do with it.

What we collect when you sign up

  • • Your email address
  • • Your household type (family, couple, solo, or "it's complicated")
  • • Your answer to "what falls through the cracks" (optional, free text)
  • • The time you signed up

Why we collect it

To let you know when hjom is ready for your household, and to understand what kinds of homes are interested so we build the right thing first. Your free-text answers directly shape what gets built. That's it.

Where it's stored

Signup data is stored in Google Sheets, accessed only by the hjom team (currently one person). The site is hosted on Vercel. No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used to train models.

What we'll email you

Updates about hjom: when it's ready, what's changed, and occasionally a question about what matters most to your household. Nothing else. No marketing from third parties, no spam, no selling your address.

How to be removed

Email hello@hjom.app and we'll delete your data within 48 hours. Every email will also include an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics, and no third-party scripts. We don't know who visits unless you tell us by signing up.

Last updated: July 2026. This policy will grow as the product does, but the principle won't change: your information belongs to you.
